Description

What music were you imagining? Eva is an albino. If it makes you feel better, assume that she and the good ol' boy are both divorcees. Something I've been thinking about lately: one constant through the ages is that people want to experience a good story. The presentation, however, can take many forms - books, theatre, movies, and more. Some of you know that I took a shot at a webcomic a while ago, and a few of you generously supported it, and I thank you very much. Well, I have lots more stories to tell, but I'm still figuring out the HOW part. Today, I want to talk about art style. When I did my comic, I tried to draw it. I am not good at drawing, and I found it tedious, extremely time consuming, and not much fun. I prefer 3D rendering! I always assumed that most people who are not Renderosity members do not like the 3D style. Some may think it's down in the "Uncanny Valley," and some purists may think - stay cool for this - that it's not really art. Regardless, I've seen very few Poser/DAZ based webcomics. I think now that the bigger problem may be that the CG art starts to look dated pretty fast. I've seen some comics that are locked into Poser 6 / Victoria 3 era characters. Contrast with drawn comics. Sure, Garfield looks different now than he did in the 1970s, but he didn't look BAD back then. It's tough being lazy! Maybe I should just learn to draw better. In retrospect, I was doing characters in "Archie style," when I may have been better off with "Disney style." Yeah, develop your own style, whatevs. :) Well, anyway, there's some thoughts for now. I will discuss another aspect of this topic in the future. By the way, any further thoughts on DAZ Lilith, and the Rhia texture they have?

Haaa! This is so cool. He's been waiting ages while she wants to hide her albino white skin AND protect it! And finally she consents. But, now I wonder how much sun block and tan coloring Fawn has on her to look roasted like that? I like your use of the kid to create the dialogue instead of using think balloons. And, ol' pops gets his mind blown as his wildest hopes suddenly become a reality - especially that thing with open mouth attracting flies. That's SO funny! And adds a good bit to the situation. Keep up the good work! As for comics and cartoons, you could do 3D and then trace the rendered 3D figures in Photoshop or another drawing program and color them. That may be less tedious than drawing if you find drawing difficult. May be worth a try to see how it works out for you. Good luck! :-)
