A most excellent capture and photo, Mike! Love how they help the fish return to their breeding grounds. Fish are smarter than we think!

A great idea and quite interesting. I would love to see the fish coming up here.

I've heard of these but never seen one. I had an image of a subway type turn style where the salmon had to insert a token before they could move on.

Very interesting & cleverly thought out!!!

What an amazing structure and it's a shame the salmon were on a "tea break" whilst you were filming Mike! ;) Looks clean there so the wildlife are well treated and even counted as they "cross the border" If only humans were so easy to count! Can't see salmon hiding in an eight wheeled artic for long! Nice work Sir!

They have one at the locks in Ballard, too; it's great fun to watch the salmon going through when it's migrating time. Lots of leaping and jumping! Great shot of this one, which looks a lot longer than the one here!

That must be quite a sight when the salmon are leaping from level to level. I've seen video on some of the nature shows on cable, but I'd love to see it in person!
