Description

As you may have noticed, the plugin for "Octane Render for Carrara" has been released in the last 24 hours, and I was privileged enough to be one of the beta testers in the closed beta period. So only now can I publicly share some of the renders I have done over the past six months. I really believe this is a new era for Carrara users, and anyone taking the plunge to get the Octane plugin will not be disappointed! This is an example of a "difficult to light" interior scene, lit entirely by the sunlight streaming in through the windows. More examples to come in the next few days! Thanks for looking. Phil

Awesome. I don't know if my video card can handle octane, it only has 196 cuda cores on it. This is definitely worth a look.

You can get a demo version to test compatibility. I think I am running 392 CUDA cores, so less than many people will have and it works fine. I would recommend having at least 2GB video memory as 1GB will be tight (but still usable if you are careful).
