Can someone help with the background blurring. How can I get it to look more natural. Advice gratefully received.

In answer to your question I can only say this. I'm not a Poser user but in DAZ Studio, one can create a 'new camera'. This camera can be seen in the workspace and positioned there, anywhere you like. But above all it has parameters with which one can control the focusdistance AND the focus depht. I use that function all the time to blur my background just as you do in real photography. Maybe there is in Poser a similar camera. Check it out. As for your portrait above, it is a great pose. Try to keep the sharpness right on the eyes. Very important in a picture.
