My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

way cool -- looks like the guy on the right is doing a little jib in tune to the music!!

It really does look better in zoom. We are a lazy bunch, too much effort to click on the image. First Julie posted a trumpet player and now your guitar man. We have the makings of a pretty good band. Great capture. I like the body language of these two although I'm not quite sure what's going on.

Oh heck yea, you rock at people photography, I love these!!!!!

The man with his back to us has had his allotted portion of hair taken and added to the musician. Such a lot of stories in this series of photos!
Faemike55
then you add Jock Jocko500 images and we've got a full-on Cajun music fest! Great capture Tara

A very nice shot Tara. Is the man sitting with his back to us for real ???? Looks like it could be a Tailors dummy !!!

Oh... I love street scenes of like this. The two seem to have eye contact and that you did wonderfully presented by the unusual format. As I was recently in Charlotte, NC, and I have seen many street musicians and well experienced as people in the street dancing. The Southern States I would also like to visit.

beautiful candid; I love your choice to do this in b/w

Beautiful capture.

Excellent work, love the crop.

I like the narrow horizontal format you created - it accentuates the perceived connection between these two men. And the horizontal slats of the benches reinforce that by creating an actual visual connection, almost like arrows on a flowchart...

You have captured a moment in time! The music has broken through someones mundane day and taken him to another place!

This is definitely a melodic series! Well seen, and a great capture, Tara!

Excellent scene caught here!

Wonderful candid shot; if I were a musician I don't know that I could do this! Was his music any good?

Great candid shot. So much good music to be heard there on the street. Brings up nice memories of a saxophone player near this spot.
