Description
Special Notes: Nobody caught the clue and it's kind of important, but that's okay, the story is spread out over months and easy to miss. So, I'm just tossing the clue out a little more plain.
Excerpt:
[The Gunslingers, Book II, Chapter 14]
[Ben]
“I am required to record the name of the humanoid authorizing death,” stated the magic box.
Ben was named after his father, but wasn’t completely sure what his last name was. His father went by the name Ben, but there had been another name, one he heard his mother call his father sometimes, that must be his last name.
“I’m Gunslinger Ben Sephin,” said Ben.
The magic box returned to it’s position on the wall and Ben didn’t give the man another glance as the body twitched a few times before becoming completely still.
Excerpt 2:
[The Princes I]
[Drums and Toy Swords]
Si decided.
He lifted his sword over his head for the head shot and felt the boys saber press against his chest.
“One point for three to Sephin,” declared the judge.
Si lost.
Sephin, also six years old, stepped forward and bowed to Si.
“Well fought, Sionnach,” said the boy.
“Well fought, Sephin,” said Si bowing two inches lower to the boy and gave him the respect due his win. The boys cleared the lane for the next two competitors and ran to the side benches to join the other boys.

“Shut up, you’re six years older than Si,” said Seph. “The fight wouldn’t be fair, and he might beat you anyway, he’s the best.”
Si became instantly angry, Tannon was always picking on Seph. Si casually dropped his soap on the ground and put his foot on top of it.
“You couldn’t win for real if you tried,” Tannon taunted Seph. “How are you supposed to protect him?”

Wonderful artwork! I never connected the two names since I understood Prince Sephin was a given name but Ben Sephin has it as a last name, anyway Ben has the heritage to do great things which he has already diplayed! I will from now on think of Seph and Alden as the Sephin princes! Sephin Sephin - well there was a Sirhan Sirhan as I recall!
