My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Scrolling down I thought when I first saw the top of this that it was a stone pillar like those found in Monument Valley. A spectacular image, perfect composition and outstanding details. It is always nice to see old friends.

Beautiful work!

This one is just beyond words, Tara! A photo that belongs in National Geographic.. You know, with a little imagination, that tree trunk could almost pass for Sauron's Dark Tower..... What a beauty!

Beautifully composed shot. In most photos (& in reality, when weather conditions are right), Crater Lake is colored a very deep, intense blue & instantly becomes the star of the show. Here it clearly plays second fiddle to that fascinating tree stump that exudes character. And the reds & oranges in the top part of the stump seem to glow from within...
