AEGIPAN is a photographer who likes to be defined by his work and not by his credentials or what he did before. Some people are just about the now, and Aegipan is one of those individuals.
You can tell it the moment you start looking through his portfolio.
He has a deep interest in capturing the different faces of human nature, and especially the ever-changing shades of the female form. He focuses his lens on the many moods of women: women being playful, being serious, being sassy, being romantic, being sullen, being sexy. Women being themselves. And he captures each instant.

Oh my goodness!!! She is Gorgeous!!! Women that look that hot are not supposed to lack in confidence! They are supposed to be skewering the hearts of toads like me with their stiletto heels!!! Granted...she has a very Sweet look about her and I pray that she is that sweet, but let's face it...she's way out of the league of 90% of most men!!! By the way...your portrait of her is amazing!!! I prefer color, but it's a lovely shot, none the less! Please tell her for me that all she need do is bat those spectacular lashes a few times and flash that beautiful smile once or twice and she could have a dozen guys of her choosing...worshiping at her feet!!!

See what happens is that men are too afraid to approach her and hit on her less attractive friends.

She lacks confidence in herself? This lady is a stunning beauty ... and even in b&w I can see that she must be able to gat everything she wants with only one wink. This is a wonderful portrait shot ... so please show us more!!! ;-)

Very lovely girl, she has beautiful eyes and face, the pose gives a sense of a lack of confidence, but, I think she has quite a bit of confidence in herself to be able to pose for pictures, so now she needs to move that confidence into her daily life and work, it is a very beautiful portrait, outstanding capture!

I think you have helped her enormously by her expression. Well done!

A most excellent portrait. The posing and lighting are excellent, with (IMHO) a hint of a smile. Have her dig down into that hidden core of strength and let the negative "vibs" bounce off. By the way this picture is a keeper!!!!

I think its all been said above, so i won't go into the fact that she's obviously a very nice looking girl. To me, the only opinion that matters is your own. She'll be right as soon as she forgets about the negative stuff and starts to focus on the positive. Hope things get better for her soon. Regarding the photo. I'm a big fan of black and white, and for me, doing portraits this close up is something i'm yet to master. This might sound strange (particularly given that i work with cg models), but it's kind of "scary" getting the camera this close to the person. I've been trying to do a close up portrait for a while, but always "chicken out" at the last minute and render the scene, "hiding" the character amongst the props. Hence, i've got to say that this is really nice work.

Thank you for this nice comment. Ironically, after 10 years of photography, I take more and more portraits (head and shoulders type) even if I do a nude session. In fact, I think I enjoy more and more the eye contact with the lens. Eyes are the windows to the soul as they say. Peace, Aegy

Great!

Agree with you. Sometimes the girl gets lost in full nudes, the eye concentrates on form and line, light and shadow. But a good portrait lets you actually see the model as something besides a prop! Maybe getting older makes you want to give a little more insight :)
