I have very mixed feelings when I look at this shot. On the one hand one sees here another presentation of the wonders of Nature close-up, but on the other I also think of creepy crawlies lurking beneath the dirt -- worms, ants, and all sorts of vermin... Guess I'm just another case of a human sadly estranged from Nature... :(
