Thanks for taking the time to check out my page! I do all my work using a combination of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. It takes me on average 2-3 days of working on a project to complete it, though refining and making small adjustments never stops! I love getting comments AND criticism, so please let me know what you think!

http://mypage.iu.edu/~gicarmic/BIOI'm 22, I live in Bloomington, Indiana. I started out drawing with pen and pencil in high school. I took a trip to Alaska one summer and was inspired by the art of the Native Americans in the Pacific Northwest. I tried copying their style, but found that they were a little too strict with their form, I preferred something more fluid and a little less structure. I also didn't want to rip-off hundreds of years of amazing cultural style. So I worked on my own stuff, using their art as an influence. I got in to painting and larger work using mixed media. Only recently did I figure out how to combine my love of art and my love of computers. So while I still do basic drawing, I've started concentrating on digital art instead. I draw out all of the pictures before transfering them point-by-point into Illustrator (no cheating using a scanner!). Then I transfer the B/W image into Photoshop to add color and texture.
