Description
Not as exciting as it may sound! As promised a main view plus a couple of close ups. The banana is 3 years old now. the dwarf form of ensete. The Aeonium is about 3 ft tall and a large multi stemmed plant. To be butchered in the autumn, its too big now. I'll pot up and root all the stems and leave the trunk to resprout. (there are two such plants in there somewhere).
The right hand shot has an alstroemeria centre stage
red flowers and strongly variegated leaves. There is also cane stemmed begonia "Little Brother Montgomery". Plus "King Kong" Coleus.

Stunning, Kevin! The begonia reminds me of a fetish I had for them some years ago: I had a good specimen of that one but I think that was before I replaced the lean-to greenhouse with my permanent studio. It is a splendiferous and most attractive display, I love it.
