Bill tells me this is a 1948 Delahaye. National Automobile Museum Reno, Nevada October, 2013 Zoom has a better wow factor.

The use of a black background that matches the blackness of the car was a brilliant idea. It seems to emerge out of the dark as a kind of ghostly entity defined solely by the light bouncing off it...

This is an awesome shot, Tara! I love how the graceful lines are enhanced by the low-key lighting - and those wonderful reflections! A real beauty! Of course there were several beautiful things born in 1948.... :-P
