Oooh, I love this stuff. It's always vaguely golden, and well...I love a good thistle, anyway, and seeing this is the promise of even more thistles. A good thing, as long as you don't get the business bits stuck in your hair. This also reminds me of an urban phenomenon, known in my particular part of Chicago. In certain areas of Chicago, there is a phenomenon called "tumble-weave"...I'm gonna try to get photos of that! You can probably guess what it is. This is such a rich-detailed photo! Those fluff-filaments look like silk.
