Nice stairs. Might be a bit steep, could be just me I haven't been able to climb stairs for years ;0) You need to keep the top rail the same hight as the stair rail. I like the lighting on your fireplace image. You should use that color light out in the room and it would offset the lights on the picture for a cool effect :)
