Description

My latest trick... Doing nails for Genesis 2 Female...modeled by the lovely Aneta for V6. :D They weren't easy, either! V4 nails? A walk in the park compared to the fustercluck that is Genesis nails...my word...both morphing and paint took over a week to figure out... So is everyone excited about the Miss Renderosity contest?? I know I am! CYA!! Laura

Yay! More nails! I think you are one of the few artists who consistently make nail packs that can be used with other characters. They are so much fun :)

an easy way to get that black edge on your finger nails is to clean a Bar B Q grill - I know, I did that this weekend - lol... as for being excited about "Miss Renderosity"? .... It's a start... Rendo needs to fine tweak the rules next year... One, if it's a "pageant" the scenes aught to look like a pageant - common sense.... and they should throw in a points system like they have in pageants - one good thing to base points off of is the "smile".... Pageant contestants ALWAYS have a huge smile - I seriously only saw two smiles in the whole contest that were even close - and one was a vampire - lol.... plus, having the BIG smile is hard for an artist to get in poser - you know that, so it would be a great category to add to next years rules.... don't you agree? ...many of my friends that entered were not invited to the second round and out of the 100 or so that did make it, I would of put my friends renders all in the top 20%... so excited? I'm only excited to see what they do with the winner this next year - it's gonna be interesting.... None of the girls in the contest "grabbed me" and said "this is the one"... so, disappointment is what I'm feeling... not excited.... I bet if I went to RGUS's latest upload right now (without even knowing what it is) I'd pick his over the Winner... he's good.... I'd love to see him put a super smile on his best model and enter, no one could compete AND that is what I'm looking for next year - if they do it again.

Ummmm...no. No, I really don't agree. You start making too many specific demands and it becomes a paint by numbers---or in this case, the "Make Art" button. So...you'll just have to suck it up, buttercup. The contest is fine like it is. It is, after all, THEIR contest. :) Sour grapes are always so ugly and distasteful.
