Description

This is the path from which several of my recent mast and boat pics were taken, and where the Rock Samphire grows. Worth seeing full size

Very nice, but I think they need to install some more benches....in between all the other benches!

What a beautiful place for a stroll! I love the fact that they have benches on the walk. It's hard to find benches here anywhere, not even the bus stops have them. And those lovely low stone and brick walls that are so common in England are nonexistent here too. For those of us with the need for frequent stops to rest the lower back it's such a challenge that walking is left undone, when some amount of it would be very beneficial!

What a peaceful park like setting. It must be very pleasant especially with the breeze off the water. Nice image.

I will think of this picture while I'm stuck in a not very bright marque at the Harrogate show, last one for this year thank goodness.

What a lovely day for a walk! In zoom you can tell who drives on the left and who drives on the right. The folks all the way in the background must be Americans or something! :P

Great location for those shots you mention with the boats and masts. It's interesting because this is a wonderful capture of adults and kids enjoying the holiday period. As mentioned a few months back in a shot by another photographer there are shots female photographers are comfortable and able to take and there are one's which male photographers might have doubts taking when the subject is young children, yet in this shot they play an important part of the overall composition of the shot.. I wonder if the parents would have been suspicious of such an innocent yet quality shot had it been a man taking it?... does lead us into a debate under the current climate of things and why you never find me up the seafront with a camera during the peaks season, even though my subjects seldom include human content... it would be hard for them not to be in the overall capture.
