This character, Aries, is the AI with whom a human counterpart must interface in order to acquire calibrations for the MM Plasma Propulsion System of a Gremn starship, also named Aries. The link with the Primary User is referred to as a "data transfer," and involves sinking electrodes into the brain. No fun, I'm afraid, but entirely necessary.
