thank you for stopping in my friends and visitors, hope your week is going well. here is a few shots of our colorado balloon classic, most likely our last here, seems the city and balloonists are having a issue on things. most likely all about MONEY! it's a shame because the classic has been here for 20 yrs or more and always on labor day weekend for the three day event. no more water skimmings and nightglows and take offs from our local park. i will have a few more to share, i only took about a dozen shots. i only have a camera phone right now and not liking the quality of them. i used to have a great 35 mm Nikon SLR. but still hope you enjoy these shots and series.

Really great shots of these balloons, Steve! Especially considering you took them with a phone camera. Too bad about the issues, though... It's always about money, it seems... Hope they get things worked out before next year.

These are great shots :) It looks like a fun event to go to :) Hopefully it's not the last year...But one thing we all know...that money and greed is the root of all evil and unfortunately good people like yourself will have to miss out ...gonna stop rambling now :)

I went to an evening balloon-fest in N. Colorado once. The balloons were quite a sight to see, all lit up at night. Shame about the greed-factor. Nice shots though.
