I love her soft skin and friendly expression. But Mark, where stands HD for again?
markht
HD is the marketing name for DAZ's high resolution morphing technology. Genesis 1 and 2 figures have fewer polygons than V4. They use automatic sub division technology to smooth out the figure during rendering. Regular morphs only move the vertices's in the original mesh. HD morphs can also modify the vertices's in the automatically sub divided mesh, so they can create more detailed morphs. You can get more detailed features in monsters, creatures and in older men/women characters. For a young woman like this, the main place you can see the effect of the HD morphs is in the fingers. The creases in the fingers can be more pronounced and realistic looking with HD morphs, if they are done well.
