They do look rather odd; I wonder what they taste like...are they poisonous?

Very interesting fruit and this shot has multiple stages in the growing process. Lots of seeds. We are listening to an audio book "Moving Target" by J. A. Jance as we drive back and forth to Jo's parents assisted living complex - a 2 1/2 hour round trip - part of the story is in Bournemouth at the High Cliff Marriott Hotel. I Goggled it - very fancy with it's own funicular down to the beach and lots of bath huts.

So beautiful and lush, yet somehow vaguely disturbing. It's hard to stop looking!

Oh no, its the fruit that ate Cleveland! They do look like open mouths. I think the little one on the top is saying, "Hallo, Andrea!"
