Description

This is a portrait of FACT in our history before ALL the American slaves became Black & Indian. And only because the Irish, Indians and Black were raiding various plantations killing their masters. That's when the English came up with an excellent plan, they decided to FORGIVE the Irish for being what they considered of lower being, class and intellect. They tricked SOME - into coming over on their side, turning against the black, Indian and others to become overseers that would WATCH the other slaves and thus, root out the attacks and put an end to uprisings. However... those FEW Irish that turned on their fellow slaves, had forgotten how many of their race had died under despicable and nightmarish circumstances. The FIRST to be sent over by the English, were children, some JUST out of toddler age. They were used for ALL kinds of things, I'll let your imagination imagine what. Many, over 30,000 died within the first year - some never made it across the ocean. YES, they too - like many black slaves, became Shark feed. Then, after emptying the orphanages and slums, they went for the Irish adults, emptying the goals, and Ireland of over 600,000 Irish - into Virgina, Maryland and Barbados plantations where they came to be called Redlegs, Backra Johnny, Redshanks. Once more, many many died, others escaped, and a few became traitors to the others. Working on Saoirse right now... to tell their story and why there are sooo many black Americans with Irish in their blood!
