Really good space scene. Fine work! It would be nice to know where you found that model?
Spydraxis
The model is available for free at sharecg.com in .lwo format. This one was converted to .obj format by me with Poseray.

A very impressive scene in full size. Excellent star sky.

Star Trek was my main inspiration but NASA is my source...and now that warp drive is possible the boundaries are limitless.

beautiful spaceship. Nice image
Spydraxis
That ship is gorgeous and I would love for NASA to make it for real. At this point it's just a concept.

nice scene and postwork, cool models too
Spydraxis
Thanks almost no postwork though (a little glow) The Lillun is a heavily modified Star Trek ship (with the blessing from the modeler Steve Metlesits) and I added the rear ring myself after NASA's announcement that Warp drive was now possible.

Thanks it took a few ties to figure out the angles.

I'm a little confused, what exactly did you design on either spaceship besides adding the ring to the ship on the left side near the stern of the picture you posted?
Spydraxis
My link didn't work so here's a direct link to the site where I got the model http://www.foundation3d.com/index.php?categoryid=38&p13_sectionid=307&p13_fileid=1925 click on the picture of the ship for a larger view.

Dave Metlesits created the ships I kitbash, and I have his blessing to do so. In fact I just spoke with him and he's flattered that anyone would stand up for him. Kitbashing incidentally is a perfectly acceptable practice and is considered a legitimate design technique.
