Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Yes, the Happiest of Birthdays to the lovely and talented Denise/MrsRatbag, one of the main reasons I remain on Renderosity.

I love trilliums. They're so beautiful, and they grow wild in certain parts of the woods up here. A wonderful dedi!

Well I didn't know that was a "trillium". Another thing I'm woefully ignorant of, flower names. But it's a most unusual flower, and you caught it as it was lounging out everywhere. And in zoom, we can see a tiny little "visitor": a little insect who's come by to say happy birthday to denise. It's way late to say happy birthday, too---since this is Nov 25 (and btw, your date for her bday was correct: It's 9/11)---but I'll think it. A big floppy flower with a lot of personality for one of our best photographers.
