Description
Saint-Omer is a city in the north of France, with a beautiful (and not famous) cathedral.
I found this strange altar inside. I suppose it is a kind of ex-voto gathering, but I don't know the saint (Erkembode) mentioned here.
Cheers!

Erkembode was an Irish monk, established in Saint Omer, who died in 742 and said to heal people who have walking difficulties (he is the saint who is walking), and also depressive people.

I wonder why all the children's shoes are there? Interesting place.

Des chaussures de miraculés de la marche? En tous cas, c'est surprenant!
