Interesting idea.... the same but different, I also agree the left work is the stronger even though they are essentially the same overall composition. Nothing wrong with the right one but art tends to be down to likes and dislikes. I like the idea to create this kind of competition between two pieces side-by-side essentially the same but slightly different, people will instinctively judge the two and make a decision.
