V8 is it Richard? Reminds me a little of the famous Pinto engine that powered so many British made Ford saloons. Great capture!

I always marveled at Ford's idea of putting the distributor at the front of the engine, making replacement of points & condenser much easier. Of course all cars now are electronic ignition and it is one of the upgrades I did on my Corvette....
