Description

I don't often see spiders in my yard, and mostly avoid them. This jumping spider was hiding in a plastic bucket a couple of weeks ago, and I managed a shot while he was cornered. Better detail in zoom. Thanks for your views and comments.

WOW! What a great shot Tex, and look at those big eyes, almost like the spaniel you have in your avatar. I observe a catch-light in the eyes, flash? If it is flash lit, you done a darn great job!!!

I had to zoom this spectacular capture to check out the eyes. I once read that they have "four pairs" of eyes and I think that means that they have eight! An outstanding macro!
