The Magic Castle is a Hollywood landmark where magicians come to play. I did not drive home in my altered state because our host had invited his friend of 50 years, who often appears there, to perform his act for us. We spent the better part of an hour watching him and his magician friend while they stunned us with their illusions. I'm sure everyone has hear of the card trick where someone picks a card from a deck of playing cards, shows it to everyone and puts it back in the deck. Then the magician picks the correct card. TA-DAA! Magicians no longer call it magic. They prefer the term 'illusion'. Your head knows it's slight of hand but it is still pretty impressive when you see it from three feet away. In case you don't see it, the deck of cards reads 'The Seven of Clubs' and, yes, that was the lady's card.
