Description
This is my all time favourite piece of work, because it took me about a week of experimenting to get it. Far longer than any other render, but it really paid off!
This tutorial was invaluable

The two tricks are to have smooth edges on the glass, and a REALLY small light source. Like crazy small.
Modeled the glass-ball-thingy in Hexagon, Multiplane Cyclorama is the backdrop.
And after staring at for far too long, I noticed a part of the caustics that looks like a snake head, hence the name.
Enjoy!
