Description

Carla 'B' gave into the young jasmine & let her have one of her favourite bones. Perhaps they share because I don't expect the girls to give things up they have got if the other is hounding for it. As far as they are concerned what I say goes :o)) I am very fair BUT they know when I am cross & I think that is because I don't nag them. As far as they are concerned I am BOSS & Meadow is my second in command. If I am talking to Meadow I will NOT allow Truly to push her way in. Jasmine, bless her, is in NO way a jealous dog. Plus I will NOT allow any oneupmanship. So all in all the girls know where they stand but do I????? Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. xxxx

Yes, they have to know who the pack leader is and in our case, it's us. We rarely have to scold Maya, especially after she'd gone beyond puppyhood but because it's so infrequent, she REALLY hates it. Fortunately, she's such a good girl we don't really have to.

Wonderful capture! I understand that if you establish dominance at the beginning, you'll have no troubles, not really owning a dog, I don't know if this is true or not. so you would be the Alpha Female?
