The real name is Rune Kringelhede, I was born in Denmark 09 August 1965, where I grew up with 3 older siblings 2 brothers and one sister, in a small country house, my father was a "spare time" painter, who besides his regular job, made abstract paintings ( oil on canvas ) he became rather well known in DK, and some of his paintings hangs in the house of parliament, as well of other official buildings, art museums and galleries. There is no doubt, that I have been inspired by my old man back then, but it was first many years later that I began making 3D and computer graphics ( I usually made hand drawings, pencil on paper when I was younger ) for a short time I worked as a DTP for a local firm, making folders, flyers, posters and so, also worked as a web-developer / designer for some years. my experience with 3D ( Poser, Bryce, Carrara and Shade ) is still rather superficial, but it is my best time spent and I couldn't live without it

excellent composition! With the hair it's just hard to tell where the photograph ends & the 3d begins... lol wish you could tell me what i'm looking at but, I probably just need to study up more on Zbrush.

Ah! Nevermind I read up on you before... lol (well i read your comments on another page about your work) you are AWESOME! lol Just put you on my favorites list not long ago so I'd forgotten but your work is the real deal! I wasn't sure what I was looking at at first (1/2 image, 1/2 3d rendering) but nevermind.

OK ;)) - but i don't mind telling you anyway ;) - the five images at the bottom is just to justify that it is in fact a 3D model - its only the upper chest and head that is sculpture so i couldn't really turn it too much around, also there is no texture on the back side soooo ;) and if you look closely you will see that some of the hair texture is "painted" on the body part -chest and shoulder- but as this is a remodeled version of V4 the hair on the chest is model as well, but practical a part of the body structure though..

would you consider making this character and texture commercially available, considering the realism quality, you'd get plenty of sales!!! keep up the great work
