Description

Well, it's not art, but it moves me! LOL Here's what I've been up to the last couple days.... With 222,310 miles - and an increasing frequency of funny noises and trips to the shop - we figured it was time to retire the old 2005 Caravan. She was a good car, but it's time for her to retire. Thanks to saving a bunch, and some inheritance, we (after all these many years) finally treated ourselves to a NEW people-and-stuff-mover! Paid up front, so no car payments, either. It took a LOT of years to get to this point... This is our 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan. I wanted to get a few photos before all the road grime, parking lot dings, windshield nicks from rocks falling off trucks, bird poop, and all the other things that happen to a car.....well,.......happen. Anyway, I'm still dealing with all the legal crap (so the DMV, DOR. and as Doc would say, all the D-heads can get into my wallet), but I'll be back in full form in a day or two to get caught up on comments. And of course the next page in the continuing T.N.A. saga! Thanks for dropping by!

Oh yeah! I forgot to tell you .... the Rendo ebots started working - somewhat sporadically - the other day. It's about time. It's only been about 4 months.

great looking mini van and capture. back when I was working I bought all my vehicles with cash. a father like friend when I was young told me that try your best to avoid loans and pay with cash. it took me many years before I could do it but started in 1989. saved thousands of dollars by avoiding interest. now I will continue to drive my Rav4 (currently 38,000 miles) for as long as I can, unless I come into some money so I can buy a Jeep

My car has all the road grime, nicks, dings and so on my friend. I have a 2003 Kia Spectra that I've owned since new. Only has just over 66.000 miles on it.. Love your new ride, Rod. Enjoy it. Nice shot of it. Maybe a shot from above with your copter next.

Pretty! Congratulations on all points. We are still driving the '97 Town and Country my Mother sold us several years ago. Nicks, dings, dents, dead A/C, faulty instrument panel and all.

Great looking ride!... and it's new!!... it's always good if one can get it new, less things to worry about.. I too had to get a new car... my old jeep, a 1991 Cherokee.. loved that SUV, but it was time to change it, for a Wrangler!.. Hope you have a great time with it,.. and be careful... Rico likes to drive fast!! We call her lead foot Rico!!

Wow, that is awesome. And you got that new car smell to enjoy for a few weeks. I still remember my one and only new car and the way it smelled for those first few days was fantastic. That was two cars ago, after some dickhead ploughed into her on my front street, totally wrecking her and then driving off, of course. With only two of you, those seats will fold down and you'll have room for all sorts of travel gear and maybe even a drone or two. A great adventure vehicle for the great American Highway. Long may you run.

Good luck with the new car mate.. It looks neat, I remember seeing a slightly earlier version in Maine, on various visits.. I'm sure it will be just fine.. On an e-bot note : I am getting very odd e-bots, very few comments (3?), normally 12 plus.. So if I don't get to your new ones its because Rendo's screwed up!!! I just don't know if you've posted or not, sorry mate.. Rob

RodS

LOL - Yeah, right..... The Ferrari is nice, but there's not enough room to haul photo gear, lumber, drones, copier parts, or the T.N.A. Girls around in it!
