Description

While on a quick scan of the front yard I came across this bottle fly sitting on the Hibiscus blowing bubbles. I was only able to get this one shot in focus. Then it flew off to a leaf out of good reach for shots. Seeing that bubble is so yellow, it makes me wonder what this fly had feasted on in the early morning for breakfast? Thanks for looking. -Bruce PS you can see the reflection of the newish ring-flash in the bubble.

I lost my year old ring flash on one of my journeys. Sure do miss it but cannot afford a new flash for my new macro right now...have to use my reflector. Going to look at getting a small LED. This is great shot, caught from the side the entire body is in beautiful focus and well lit.
