I've been using Poser and Daz for a while now, but I still feel like a newbie. I like the potential of being able to animate and create your own scenes. The creative effort appeals to me on so many levels. You're only limited by your own imagination, drive and creativity.
I'm a storyteller, so basically I want to use Poser to create the stories that I want to tell, so my interest is more in modeling and posing than Animation. I'm trying to keep myself focused on that.

Powergirl Rocks! You got that right! Question: What type of lighting did you utilize when rendering this scene. The lighting that comes with the Luxurystar is 'difficult' to work with to say the least. But the lighting in your scene is very good. When I first saw the thumbnail, I was like, "Alright, more Powergirl! Wait a minute, that's the Luxurystar in the background, how did he get it to look so good?"

I almost never use the lighting that comes with the product. It never seems to work out for me. I used: Advanced Light Presets for AoA's Lights by DimensionTheory Advanced Spotlight by Age of Amour Advanced Ambient Light by Age of Amour For the base lighting. For lighting the figure itself, I added some light panels with the omAreaLight Light Shader for DAZ Studio. You just add the shader to a basic plane primitive and viola --you have a soft light panel. I usually turn these lights down to about 15 to 30% and pick a color other than white. I Use a Key, Fill and Back light to provide the added illumination. Usually a combination of these lights gives me the basis. I tweak the colors on the light panels until I get something that satisfies me. I was basically wanting to see how the modeling of the costume came out. I'm pretty happy with the results. I did the Leotard --the rest are part of TerryMCG's Cosplay outfit on Sharecg
