Hello,
My name is Paul-John Novak, Jr. and I am a traditional/digital amatuer comic creator. My original comics universe is called Coolstar Comics. It started out way back in 1992 when I was in middle school with the creation of my first team of heroes, the "Super-Mutant Nine" made out of my love for characters such as the "TMNT" and "X-Men" at the time. From there I began creating my own comics and more and more characters until at this point in time I have a universe of over 1,000 characters to work with. I didn't start actively sharing these creations until around 2010 though as I did not have the means to do so due to time, money and technological constraints. But, now that I am able to do so, I have begun creating character bios for all of the characters that I have created and have been slowly working on finishing a comic called "Unlimited Evil" that I started as my first serious attempt at a webcomic to share with the world. Renderosity is just one of many places that I post my art to, and although it is not as organized as many of the others, I enjoy the extra exposure that it affords me all the same. Thanks for visiting my gallery here and I hope that you enjoy my work. If you would like to see my galleries on other sites please check out the links below.

Clever!!! Nicely done!!! It may just be me (and you may have done this intentionally) but your character's 'bulk' seems to recede behind his edge. It kinda makes him look like the back side of a "Shrinky Dink." The lighting and shadows seem (to me) to imply that the only "depth" that this character has in a 3D world is his edge and his spots / innards. I think if you were trying to show the fluidity of his internal organs or "guts," you came very close to doing so but it seems he has no 'front' to his body. I might have tried using some light "glints" or "windows" to imply that he has a translucent skin in the front that does indeed fill out his body. Just my opinion and I'm probably wrong (my wife assures me I am ALWAYS wrong). LOL Anyway...keep up the great work!!! I like seeing all the things you can come up with! 5++ :)

Oh...and, it would seem to me, the perfect weapon to use against him would be a bottle of Lysol or Clorox Toilet bowl cleaner!!! LOL LOL I think I may have seen him a time or two in my bathroom!!! LOL LOL LOL :D He also reminds me of a "Vogon!" If you ever have the chance to read the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, the Vogons are pretty disgusting as well!!! LOL

Yeah, as a non-humanoid character, in this case an amorphous blob, I do realize that he does come off as more 2D and flat than all of my other characters. I've just always drawn him this way as a shapeless green form with the purple spots. I will take your suggestions into consideration as I've been thinking of possibly looking at references of slimes from rpg games or something as a way to make him pop in a more 3D form on a 2D page. Thanks for the time and the comments.
