Description

It's difficult to hide in a fat-ball bird-feeder when you have a 3 inch long tail ! This is my resident wood mouse. He / she lives in my garage and is often seen scurrying around the garden. It has taken him a good 6 months to sniff out this bird feeder. Quite how he gets up onto the garage roof I do not know, but he then jumps down, negotiates a few feet of washing line (commando style) and slips down into the feeder. For most of this week he has been invisible, bar his tail, but has now gorged himself to the extent that he is on public display. I take the view that while he is vermin, from his point of view there are far too many humans, and we are the vermin, so I leave him be. Thanks for looking and have a great weekend. ~Steve~

Hmmm... I say you start charging him rent! Room and board would be nice, seeing as how he is rummaging in the food! I must say though, considering I'm a wee bit "shy" of mice.... he's cute!

Sweet; in actual fact I love all creatures and would hate to kill anything, so I turn a blind eye to the uninvited guests at my feeders...
