My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Check our that furrowed brow! I think he's probably looking at stock market porn...oh those plunging profit margins! Or maybe he's just sexting...who knows. As usual, this is a marvel of people photography! Ah...and I have a pretty ambitious cold as well, I've named him Fred: he's on the way out, but he's doing what my colds do...he's migrated into my sinuses and got himself trapped, and the only way out for him is with a toe tag. Poor thing. My phagocytes are busy, and they're kinda miffed too, because they didn't plan on working over the weekend. Hopefully you feel better soon. Heh...we can compare cold notes.

I like this image because it is not obviously specific to any era. It could have been taken in the 1950s. The black and white really adds to that feeling.

The inclusion of the shoulder as frame is inspired! I hope you recover quickly, colds are so debilitating. I'm on antibiotics for a chest infection too!

I love people like this with their face in those things, as they come toward me I stop dead, and frighten the hell out of them when they bash into me :)

BTW I cant repeat here what I say, but it involves a more profane way of saying "Get you face out of the phone, and get a life"

Nicely done; the focus is perfect, and subtly brings our attention to the young man with his phone. You're very good at these street shots!

Such concentration on a text message... and he's missing the world around him.

You know... I see these guys (and gals) all the time - completely absorbed in that little 3 X 4 inch screen.... I'm tempted to have my camera at the ready for when one of them walks into a light pole, or stumbles over a fire hydrant. LOL This guy looks like he just got a text from his insurance company with higher rates! What a fun shot, Tara!
