Rambutan means hairy in Malaysia and this fruit certainly looks hairy. Easy to open but keep in mind that there is a seed in there.

It reminds me of the Arctium seeds (Arctium, in English Burdock), Cheryl. We call that Klis, in the past children tossed them in ones hair, that was horrible it came hardly out of my hair.
