Description

Blaze (left), Lilith (center), and Andrea (right). Thanks to everyone for their input on my last image. With regards to Blaze, the topic of breasts was touched on. Um... Anyway, we shall examine them in great detail at another time. I wanted to show how she looks in clothes and see if the situation seems different. For now, let's just say we're aiming for a B-CUP. Does she look like a B-cup? All I know is that she looks a lot better with hair! In the center we have DAZ Lilith 6 "as is." As you can see, she's wearing the invisible corset. See what I mean about characters who look fine on their own but odd together? To me, Blaze seems short only because Lilith is in the scene. Regarding the hue difference (more/less red) in their texture maps, that is a WHOLE other issue that we will address later. On the right we have Andrea, a mannequin that was included with Poser 9 (?). Now, if she's meant to be a robot, that's one thing, but as a drawing aid, she leaves a lot to be desired. Note the massive chest (and not the good kind), the overly long arms, and the absurdly small feet. As is, she would probably not make a great drawing reference. Unfortunately, some of these issues are not easily changed. Go ahead, try to scale the chest and tell me how it looks. It's too bad there isn't a morphable mannequin. I know a lot of you would say that "fixing" Andrea in a modeler is no big deal, but I've got a lot more studying to do before I attempt that. Hmm, marketplace ideas for the ambitious. So that's that. I will ask again, are Blaze's feet the right size? Her legs are shortened, and I don't know if that means her feet should be scaled down with them. Also, we've been talking about proportions so much, I've got an image in the works that would pop a few brain cells of the "tummy men." Stay tuned......

As for feet, there is no wrong or right size as each woman has her own size as for Blaze, she looks to be a B Great work and good discussion

Well, with any aspect of variable size, there may be no right or wrong, but 99% of cases fall within a certain range. Note that we are aiming for Blaze to be as "average" as possible. Also, foot size is usually related to height. If Andrea was a human, her feet probably couldn't support her!

Nice job! Blaze looks great. Somewhat shorter feet, and shorter torso, longer legs (so torso doesn't appear so long). I like Lilith's texture map a bit more than Blaze's. B-cup? Of coffee? Sure, why not! Lilith is fine except for her cinched in belly (does she have anything at all inside her squeezed abdominal cavity?). Poor Andrea looks quite forlorn. Big clumsy chest, a pair of cymbals for pelvis, no hair, not even a face. And trussed up on a pedestal for all to gawk at. Poor Andrea. Are the other two trying to figure out how to help her? Nice study in shapes with clothing on them.
