Description
Captured 9/18/14, early AM, not far from home while testing out my newly acquired Canon Rebel T3 1100D SLR, in this particular instance to try and achieve Denise-like focus and bokeh effects. The result a far cry from my usual point-and-shoot camera efforts.
ZOOM capable.

Harry, I owe you a number of catch-up comments, but at least I wanted to comment on this, because you've been away from here for 2 weeks (almost) and it's great to see you back. My words aren't what they used to be, right now, but this is a beautiful job---capture and postwork---and congratulations on the new Canon, btw! Your model is one I've thought about---I wish you long and great experiences with it. And your pic: As Denise says, "Glorious light and colour and delicious bokeh, mission accomplished!" That comes from another flower master, written for you, one of our very best. Your bokeh is beautiful, and the nuanced way you 'painted' it across various portions of the petals makes this a dessert---lush, sensuous and downright edible. The bottom leaves are sharp too, and they stand out beautifully against the bokeh'd background. I hope you'll be back with more, as time goes on, and I wish you the best with your new SLR: It can only add to your wonderful eye; and the flowers in your area are, I'm sure, biting at the bit at the prospect of you capturing them with your new master-instrument. I'll be back for more soon; I'm glad I'm the 9th comment in less than a day---your work deserves a lot more. Stay healthy. A beautiful return upload.
