René Lévesque Park & Promenade Father Marquette
René Lévesque Park (French: Parc René-Lévesque) is an urban park in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located in the borough of Lachine on a jetty between the Saint Lawrence River and the end of the Lachine Canal. It is approximately 140,000 m2 (1,500,000 sq ft) in area.
The jetty was created in 1848 during the digging of the Lachine Canal. A parallel jetty, created in 1883, is used as a yacht club.
There is a sculpture garden consisting of twenty two sculptures by Quebec artists in the park. The sculptures were unveiled during three sculpture symposiums, the first having taken place in 1985. The sculpture garden is part of the Lachine Museum.
The park also features a bicycle path, an arboretum and several species of bird.

Parc René Lévesque & Promenade du Père Marquette
Parc René-Lévesque est un parc urbain à Montréal, Québec, Canada. Il est situé dans l'arrondissement de Lachine sur une jetée entre le fleuve Saint-Laurent et la fin du canal de Lachine. Il est d'environ 140 000 m2 (1,5 millions de pieds carrés) de superficie.
La jetée a été créé en 1848 lors du creusement du canal de Lachine. Une jetée parallèle, créé en 1883, est utilisé comme un club de yacht.
Il y a un jardin de sculptures composé de vingt-deux sculptures d'artistes québécois dans le parc. Les sculptures ont été dévoilés au cours des trois symposiums de sculpture, la première ayant eu lieu en 1985, Le jardin de sculpture fait partie du Musée de Lachine.
Le parc dispose également d'une piste cyclable, un arboretum et plusieurs espèces d'oiseaux.

I like the style of the gate in the background and if the unusual gate is a sample of the sculptures in the garden - then I hope we get to see some of the sculptures in the near future!
