Description
Yesterday the largest cruisership was in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
It's massive!
Look at how small the blocks of flats seem to be!
People from all over the world came to have a look.
The ship is now in dok in Rotterdam, Botlek, to have the engines replaced and to do some upgrading.
She will be back in Rotterdam in about 14 days.
Then she'll be off for another cruise.
Very impressive ship.

Oasis of the Seas is a cruise ship of Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. Its sister ship, Allure of the Seas, was delivered in 2010 and its construction was the largest tonnage ship to the world. A new sister-ship (Oasis 3) Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas will be built by Chantiers de l'Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire (FRANCE); its length is 363 meters, which will make it the largest liner in the world. A fourth Oasis was also commissioned during the laying of the first block of Oasis 3 at Chantier de l'Atlantique. Both Oasis class cruise ships are built at the shipyard in Turku, Finland (STX Europe, formerly Aker Yards).

Super shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know the amazing thing is though that she can potentially sink just as easily as anything else against the might of the sea. She would still be tiny against some the ocean's bigger groundswells. An amazing vessel though.

Wow, she looks huge, but I wouldn't want to be on her in the North Atlantic in winter, but she is beautiful, outstanding capture!

Those Cruiseships are amazing, floating Cities, Shopping Malls, Ice Skating and Swimming included, as big as they are though they look like midgets next to Maersk E Class Cargo Container Ships of course they're all bidness and no fun Peace
Hubert
Pah, it cannot be THAT large, if it still fits on a R'osity gallery thumbnail! ;) Kidding aside: Great shot of a great and impressive ship!

That ship is only 4 years old. Seems strange they need to replace an engine already. I hope they have a good warranty! 😳
