Nice work on this very cool capture, Richard.

I reckon it could be Venus. Perhaps the web would say if there is a close planet!

Cool capture !!! UFO are back !

Satellites are not normally visible during daylight hours except during evenings just after sunset and mornings just prior to sunrise. In addition, they would be moving northwest to southeast or vice versa. The geosynchronous satellites are at 22,300 miles altitude and would have to be extremely large and/or bright to be seen under daylight conditions. If you know the date and time the pic was taken, some satellites and the planet Venus locations could be determined and checked off as possible explanations. Otherwise, it is a UFO by definition.

Venus is the morning / evening star, she precedes of followes the sun as she is close by. Must be Russian.

Well the alien they said never existed back in 1947 must have escaped Area 51 and highjacked a weather ballon and is up there trying to "PPhhhhone HHhhome" Lol. Really have no rational idea of what it is. Like everyone else I hope its an alien craft!

As ljdean mentioned, a stationary, or geosynchronous satellites are over 20,000 miles away and would be impossible to see with the unaided eye, especially in the daylight. Even the space station - which covers the area of a football field - is only a bright dot that can be seen after dusk - and it moves across the sky quite rapidly. It could possibly be a large helium balloon, but it would have to be much larger than the standard balloons launched by NOAA or Weather service. I've seen similar objects a few times, usually moving. No idea what they are, but they are objects, and they're in the air.... Hence UFO.. Very clear shot of whatever it is, Richard!

Damn!! My ship's cloaking devise is on the blink - again!!

I saw something like that a few years ago. A satellite that's low enough to see wouldn't be stationary, so I don't know what it could have been.
