This looks so very special to me, Alida. I never saw something like that, and I think this is a cactus with little ones on it, but as I understand you well, you can eat that little ones, amazing.

Must be a very, very good fruit, if a Cactus is protecting it. Smiles.
Never have seen or heard of such... they look like a lot like green grapes that are going bad on my countertop..
