Description
Captured back on 4/5/08, early in the morn, somewhere within the vast perimeter of the neighborhood.
To avoid complete neglect of my rose pics, I'm going back into my old files, when blooms were much more healthy, plentiful and varied in the area, and postworking these beauties even more, e.g., desaturating and contrast, for presentation at this time.
A ZOOM will give a bit more of an increase in size.

Wonderful marbling/veining in the petals of this beauty, Harry; the roses down there are so big and lovely, it seems like ours are smaller here. There's a lot of the older type, flatter and fewer petals, and growing in low hedges. They smell just as nice, but don't grab the eye like these big ones do. Excellent capture!
