Description

Most D-model Cyberoids were only designed with a limited working life of 12 hours before needing to recharge and receive OS updates. In the Orbital Colonies, where Cyberoids have been heavily modified for service work and security, this limit is greatly reduced and a much higher level of scheduled maintenance is needed to avoid malfunctions and breakdowns. For most modified Cyberoids a mandatory half hour systems check and recharge is scheduled every 6 hours (to roughly coincide with the break periods given to human labourers for meals). Specialized "Body Shops" have been set aside for these systems check schedules to meet the specific needs of the Cyberoid work-force...
