Description
Go ahead, I'm posing for you, so take my picture.
One of two divers that tend the beautiful Blue Cavern, with its vast array of beautiful fish, captured 5/26/11, in the lobby of the beautiful Aquarium of the Pacific, in beautiful Long Beach, California.
Lots of postwork involved here, because aquariums are not photography friendly, except maybe to a hired professional, who can work unhindered under ideal closed conditions.
Au revoir.

What I hate the most about aquarium photography is the dirty glass; fingerprints and smudges on one side, and then the usual algae/muck on the other. Hard to get a good clear shot through that, and then of course there's always the other people around and in the way. Yes, the professional with the aquarium on his side has a much better chance at it than the rest of us poor schmucks, I agree. But you did well here, and I still say that's kind of a cool job for someone, being in the water with all the fish!
