Captured 4/27/14, at the beautiful Renaissance Faire, held at the beautiful Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, in semi beautiful Irwindale, California.
The ladies are each holding some kind of silver container as they march by. Apparently something traditional and beyond my ken. I bet their arms got tired.

My father used to enjoy going to the festival in central NY. As he remarked, he liked seeing the women in their corseted dresses. Very nice photos!

Maybe it was the blessing of the ale? Or tins of peaches? Strange and wonderful, and they do look hot in all that fabric. But how lovely the colours are, and the variations in costuming; not too many smiles in this bunch, maybe they're just willing it to be over so they can relax somewhere in the shade. The invention of air conditioning is probably the single best in the history of mankind, IMHO. Masterful series of shots here, Harry, well done!
