Description
Little Penny a lovely little cross, she was bought from a pet shop (This was 1968, I DO NOT agree with ANY animal being sold in a petshop), she was a lovely little girl & followed me everywhere. Tina the GSD was rehomed by me (sadly the families little boy was allergic to her coat) such a gentle lady, a true joy to live with. Puppy Della, my first border collie, she was so lovely, used to show her in obedience, she did very well for me. Lovely girls.

Beautiful girls! Was Penny crossed with a whippet or lurcher? I can remember when pups and kittens were in pet shops. We didn't think anything of it back then

My dad bought me a couple of dogs from pet shops when I was a child...we didn't know any different then did we! Love you photo of all your special girls..They leave a big gaping hole in your heart when they pass on but the memories help to fill it.

Such great memories with this group shot. I too remember when you could buy cats and dogs in pet shops, me and my late mother got a kitten for my sister named Pepsi and that cat lived to a good old age with another two cats and they were all loved and looked after well.
