Description

Wednesday was a travel day from Pilot Knob to Mountain Home, Arkansas. We did take one side-trip to a beautiful spring on the way (I'll have a shot of it soon), and arrived in Mountain Home early Wednesday evening. Today (Thursday) started out sunny and beautiful, but windy as the dickens. Then the clouds and rain moved in - so I didn't get the Phantom in the air.. I did manage to get some decent photos before the weather moved in, but I need to sort through them.. So instead of scenery, I'll just torture you with tonight's dinner From Gaston's Resort and Restaurant... Breaded, fried trout with squash medley and a loaded baked potato... I'm still full! Tomorrow (Friday) we head home, but I still have a week off before returning to *ugh* work. Still have some business to take care of, but mostly relaxing and doing some art, hopefully - and also getting caught up on comments. Hope everyone's having a great week, and a great weekend coming up! Thanks for dropping by and for all your comments and support!

"wot, no dessert?" after all that HotRod ... my my, yopur slipping .... Seriously though, I am glad you had a great vacation and shared some of it with us. It's good to have that extra "buffer zone" as well before the return methinks.

A nicely presented plate. The fish and the potato can stay on my plate but the squash can be an extra portion for you. I like the little pile of julienned veggies at the top of the plate, very classy. I hope it tasted as good as it looked.
